Home schooling can be a great experience for the parent and the child. There are many tools needed for home schooling including educational toys for home schools.
Home schooling need not be expensive or overwhelming. Find ready prepared curriculum complete with work books, tests, educational toys, and videos, or prepare your own unique curriculum. Preparing your own set of educational toys can be fun and encourage the children to suggest things that can help on the road to learning and creating. Here are some suggestions for educational toys for home schools:
Ages 6-8
Computer games- hand held, cartridge style and CD�s. These are not video games that only promote violence and apathy, but interactive educational games that encourage, help and promote learning.
Manipulative toys with shapes, colors- there are countless choices of micro wooden and plastic building blocks aimed at building math and logic skills.
Building blocks- wooden bock sin varying shapes and sizes, encourage creativity, building, math and reasoning.
